2. Enquiries and communication
When you write to us or call us, we process the information you provide: your name, contact details, company name where applicable, the content of your message and information needed to respond or prepare a quotation. Please provide only the information necessary for your enquiry.
If you contact us with a view to entering into a contract, processing is based on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). For general questions and communication with business contacts, processing is based on our legitimate interest in responding to messages and conducting business communication (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Providing data is voluntary. Without the necessary contact details or information, we may be unable to respond or prepare a quotation. Sending an enquiry does not, in itself, constitute consent to receive advertising messages.
3. Technical data collected during visits
When you access the website, the server processes technical data needed to deliver the pages and ensure security. This may include your IP address, the date and time of the request, the requested URL, the server response, and information about your browser and operating system.
The purposes are to keep the website working, detect errors and prevent misuse. Processing is based on our legitimate interest in the safe and reliable operation of the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Cookies and external links
This information website does not include Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or advertising tracking scripts. Its code does not set analytics or advertising cookies. Images, fonts and the presentation video are served from this website. It does not include a shopping basket or user registration.
Links to eco-pfas.com and eco-eliminator.com open separate websites, which are governed by the privacy notices published there. Clicking an email address opens your email application.
This policy covers this information website and the handling of enquiries. It does not cover newsletter subscriptions or processing on other websites.
5. Who may access the data
The website and email are hosted by NEOSERV (Avant.Si d.o.o.). In providing these services, the provider also processes data held in the hosting environment and email accounts, including technical logs.
Data may be accessed by people who need it to handle your enquiry and by technical service providers to the extent necessary to provide hosting, email and maintenance. Where a provider acts as a processor, processing is governed by an agreement in accordance with Article 28 GDPR.
We may disclose data to the competent authorities where required by law. If communication leads to an order, the necessary data is also processed to fulfil the contract and meet legal obligations; the relevant information is provided when the order is placed.
In its published data-processing agreement, NEOSERV states that data is stored in the EU and in territories recognised by the EU as providing an adequate level of protection. You may request further information about processors, processing locations and any safeguards by contacting us. Provider’s published agreement.
6. How long we retain data
We delete data relating to enquiries that did not lead to a contract 12 months after communication ends, unless another legal basis permits further retention, for example to address a specific legal claim.
If data is needed to fulfil a contract, meet a legal obligation or resolve a specific dispute, we retain it for as long as necessary for that purpose or as required by law. When the retention period expires, we delete or anonymise it.
According to NEOSERV’s published general terms, server logs are normally retained for 30 to 60 days, depending on the service and server settings. Data may also be included in backups, which are deleted according to the provider’s backup cycle. In its published data list, the provider states that data is removed from backup systems 3–9 months after the service subscription expires; this is not the retention period for active enquiries. Further information: NEOSERV terms and list of data and retention periods.
7. Your rights
Subject to the conditions set out in the GDPR, you may request access to your data, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing. Where the legal conditions are met, you also have the right to data portability.
Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may object to processing on grounds relating to your particular situation. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. You may object to direct marketing at any time.
Send your request to info@eco-element.si. We respond without undue delay, normally within one month. If an extension is necessary because of the complexity or number of requests, we will inform you of the reasons within the first month; the period may be extended by no more than two additional months. If we have reasonable doubts about your identity, we may request additional information necessary to confirm it.
If you believe we are processing your data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia.

This information website does not carry out automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.
We publish changes to this policy on this page and show the update date. Visiting or continuing to use the website does not, in itself, constitute consent to processing that requires consent.
